Game 'dupes' for GW? :S
I have been having issues with my computer for a long time, and can no longer play GW.
I have been trying to find game 'dupes' on either the Wii or DS (obviously I know there is no other game out there on these platforms like GW, I just want one that is similar).
Especially games with wifi / multiplayer mode.
Anyone have any ideas? I was thinking maybe Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time, but couldn't decide if the DS or Wii version was better.
Any help is greatly appreciated

The maze of Kyg has some nice loot and it's right next to the Swordsmith. gonna farm that for a bit.
/edit2
Arrgh..cleared my cookies..had to restart..lost 40k. gonna go with a long sword as opposed to a wide one lol.

The wii and DS version of Echoes of Time are very similar, since you can play on wifi with someone who has the DS version even if you have the wii game. It might help you decide if you look at some comparison videos somewhere.

Well, for the DS, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor is similar to GW. 3-4 teams under your control, each with 3 members (1 human + 2 demons), a huge tactical aspect is choosing the right setup for every team and "mixing" demons with each other to remove all weaknesses and get the best combination of attacks.

Any other ideas?
I would love a game where I can either play as a girl, or make my own character

I can't live without Guild Wars anymore...
So basically my computer is really old and slow and I can't play Guild Wars anymore
Are there any games out there for the Wii or Gamecube (since that can play on the Wii) that are similar to Guild Wars?
I always loved the whole 'fantasy world' look it had, and loved playing the more caster professions like the Elementalist and Ritualist.
I was thinking one of the Final Fantasy games, but since I am a girl I prefer playing female characters.
Please Please Please help me

Don't know of any games for Wii or Gamecube similar to Guild Wars, but you might want to give Tales of Symphonia or Fire Emblem (both for Gamecube) a try.

...Pokemon.
Seriously, what do you expect from DS games? Gameplay is great, but you would rather have a simulator or The Sims on DS?

Only you would know, since you don't seem to want to explain.
As far as I know, there are no games for any Nintendo system that have the look and gameplay of GW. The closest you could come would probably be Final Fantasy or Zelda.

Guild wars is unique, so the only way would be to fix your computer or buy a new one.
Anyways, there are very few rpg games for wii, I found a list at http://www.wiisworld.com/wii-games/RPG/ don't know how up to date it is.
It doesn't have Zelda Twilight princess, which is odd, since it was one of the first games to wii. It's a good game too.
I havn't played any of those games, however, papermario was good for gc, so it might be good for wii too. It's not really similar to gw in any way though.
Tales of Symphonia was a really good game to gc which I enjoyed. However, it's sequel Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the new world, hasn't got any really good reviews. Might be worth checking out?

GW is unique and you would not be able to find a game like it anywhere. My only solution, whether it be "too complicated" or not, is to simply fix your PC or get a new one.

For the price of couple of new games you could just buy a new PC system for 200-300 dollars that could play modern games.
As for suggestions no game can come close to GW besides maybe GW2 but, stuff that comes to mind that I enjoyed is...
"Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance" (Gamecube)
"Gauntlet: Dark Legacy" (Gamecube)
"Gladius" (Gamecube)
I can't think of any good Wii games I've played besides Zelda that have a medieval fantasy feel..lol

get a ps2....get all 3 .hack//GU games
u'll think you're playing GW2
or u could go outside and live your life
life is like GW if u dress in a long overcoat and carry a bow around
except u get the opposite of aggro
UNTIL you actually shoot an arrow at some1
at that point u aggro a bunch of lvl24 police men
